Women with children in the Welsh seaside city manage to squeeze in five hours and 44 minutes a week playing with their youngsters
Mothers in Brighton were the second most 'hands on' at five hours and five minutes of play every week
In third place was Edinburgh, where mums spend 4 hours and 50 minutes playing each week, according to the survey of 2,000 mothers for Fairy
The study also found that the most popular creative play activities were: painting pictures, making masks, hand/finger puppets, hat/helmet-making and creating rockets
Catherine Fairchild, spokeswoman for Fairy, said: "This demonstrates that mums still love to get involved in creative play with their kids and use their imaginations to create things out of everyday items, such as old packaging, with a whopping eighty-five percent saying that would like to encourage their kids to be even more creative."
It also emerged 62 per cent of mums stash away old packaging for the kids to use and nearly a third said they would be helping the kids to make something creative out of old washing up bottles and other items over the Easter break. Want to find out more about hand washing for kids ?
